Power Supply as a Source of Error
An insufficient power supply is often the source of different errors. Using the right power supply is important for the different combinations of devices which are working with Max2Play. It is possible to see if it is a problem with the power supply. In the Max2Play-Image with default settings, you can see a little symbol in the right upper corner of the HDMI output. To see this symbol you need an active display connected to your device. Often it can be seen only for a short time.
Problems which can arise through an insufficient power supply:
- Raspbian is going into the Emergency Mode
- Music playback is not working correctly
- Filesystem Mount is not working very well
- The device is not receiving a signal from the router (with an additional wifi dongle)
- 2.5″ hard drive is not working correctly („hanging/clicking“)
