You probably have to reinstall the entire system from scratch. I use version 8.4.0 and I don’t see the need to upgrade.

Of course It failed to install version 8.5.0 but after reboot automatically found version 8.4.0 and install it over 8.3.1. I had to make upgrade in order to work with latest Tidal plugin.

I had similar problem with Tidal. Fortunately devs from https://github.com/LMS-Community have already written the plugin. All you have to do is wait for appropriate plugin 🙂

I understand. What if I connect two sound HATS and use only one of them by selecting it in the Raspberry settings? Will there be any conflict on the GPIO? If it doesn’t work then the only solution I have is the DACBerry ONE card. It has a line output, spdif and headphone jack.
