Thanks for the reply, Unfortunately I need to use the options to have it working with my USB sound card. I see the card from max2play menu but it does not work not sure why (it works with any other feature of max2play but this ) . I have now created a service to start the librespot process independently from this interface menu and all works fine
24. Mai 2022 at 21:07 #52236Hello please fix this issue, I’m having the same if I try to use the plugin
Everything works fine if I ssh and run the command /opt/spotifyconnect/librespot –name CONNECT –device <device name>If I don’t specify the –name I get the same error in the the shell (ssh)
This is a hint your wrapper is not passing the arguments correctlyIf I pass no arguments at all then it works and the name is max2play but I hear no music because I need to specify a specific –device
Long story short I believe it’s not possible to pass any command line options because the wrapper is kind of broken
Can you have a look? Shall we pass options in a specific format?
24. Mai 2022 at 11:51 #52233In the first post there is a typo anyway
– b 20000:60000
one space too many
–b 20000:60000
18. Januar 2022 at 15:34 #51939As a follow up I’ve managed to solve this issue by adding : -V Digital
as option in the Command line option of the squeezelite18. Januar 2022 at 15:12 #51938Hello
I’m interested to know if I connect using USB how is the volume controlled? I’d like to have a fixed USB max volume from max2play so I can only use the volume knob of my external DAC. Is this the default mode of operation? I’m asking because the volume I hear right now using USB output is bit low with respect to what I hear is I use coax digital output…
please advise
Thanks18. Januar 2021 at 16:33 #50619Thanks for getting back to me, since the initial message I’ve reflashed the sdcard and now all works correctly
Thanks14. Januar 2021 at 14:58 #50612can I access as root and remove by hardforce from /usr/start?
14. Januar 2021 at 14:57 #50611If I remove from startup I get a message „successfully removed from start“ but then it will start anyway
I’ve just checked again2. April 2020 at 14:46 #48397it basially was the combination of two things together:
1- my DLNA player (pioneer lx88 brilliant hardware but firmware so and so) must be switched on before the server could be activated, otherwise it freezes
2- I had PCM selected in encoding but it better works with FLAC 03- Playing with player settings within the plugin, bit of hit and miss but now all set and not going to touch them again
2. April 2020 at 13:01 #48390Hi , just to let you know I’ve managed to have this working. Thanks
1. April 2020 at 14:53 #48385Hi Mario,
I’ve done as suggested, I have no a squeeze client + server running with spotify connect and Shairtunes2I also have installed the UPNP bridge plugin and it’s here that I’m having problem.
It is my understanding that once you have installed this plugin you would see a virtual pi squeezeclient but nothing happens to meIn the settings page of the plugin I see my pioneer BDP network player and there are settings defined for it…
Am I missing something here?Thanks
1. April 2020 at 14:19 #48384Hi Mario
I’ve found what the problem is. Based on your reply I’ve played with the encoding parameter for the Shairtune2 abd found out I had WAVE selected. I’ve changed it now to MP3 or FLAC and now both work. Can you confirm WAVE does not work for you as well? My audio card is fine and it’s selected as direct hw mode Thanks
