Hi Cyn
We are happy to help.
You can download Eclipse and connect remotely to the pi and browse the project files, and then you can add your page. or run your page separately on the pi, since Max2Play image has already PHP and Apache installed.

Please can you check iptables firewall. iptables is a user-space application program that allows a system administrator to configure the tables provided by the Linux kernel firewall. you can change the configuration to allow port 631 to accept data packets. Please check the following webpages:

Sorry, but your question is more related to AVR, and we can not provide you technical support regarding this matter. And please try to post just one thread for each problem or suggestion you have, so we can follow and provide you the help regarding your technical issues.

Mohammad Mbydeen15. Februar 2017 at 15:39 #26941Dear julandco,
the Sysdefault option and HW option are the same, it is just the naming of the Card – technically it will be the same, the Options are printed by squeezelite and they are different on different systems.

15. Februar 2017 at 15:27 #26940Dear Tom,
Thank you for your post.
You can open the web-interface of the squeezebox server desktop application and then choose the player, which is in this case your pi, and you have to make sure that the Squeezelite player is ruining on your pi.

Mohammad Mbydeen15. Februar 2017 at 13:35 #26933Dear Tom,
You can just ignore the message as it is not important for the average user.If you want to get rid of this warning and enable cgroups, add the following to your kernel command line:
sudo nano /boot/cmdline.txt
add line : cgroup_enable=memory (before elevator=deadline)Regarding the wifi, what is the wifi usb that you are using ? we recommend you to use the wifi usb from our shop, because it seems there is a problem with initialising the driver interface:

Another question, have you installed LMS application for windows in your PC ?
from this website ?
http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.9If so, it means that you have two servers in the network, and thats not recommended, we recommend you to use just one LMS.

Mohammad Mbydeen15. Februar 2017 at 12:58 #26932Dear Tom,
In order to hear audio from the pi and use your computer to play another audio files at the same time, I think you have to check the AVR settings, LMS UI is used to control the Squeezelite audio player to help you to play music using the web browser. How could you play audio from the pi, by only viewing the LMS UI ? Sorry, I am still confused about your question !!

Please make sure that you disabled IPv6 on the raspberry settings page, because enabling IPv6 could cause broken links. and then you can check the CUPs service using this commands:
nmap -v -sV localhost -p 631
sudo netstat -tnlp | grep :631And please check the firewall settings if you are accessing the Print server from outside.
for more information, please check the following webpage:

Mohammad Mbydeen14. Februar 2017 at 16:52 #26925Dear splitek,
Sorry for the late response, we have tested TuneBlade and you can configure the settings for the latency, by clicking on settings > AirPlay Streaming > and choose Real-time Streaming or Custom buffer size to 0.
I think that solution would be the most convenient for you, instead of recoding the plugin, if you are a developer, you can check the whole project on:
https://github.com/max2play/webinterface

Mohammad Mbydeen14. Februar 2017 at 15:28 #26922Dear Mnyb,
Sorry for the late response, We have tested the password protection plugin, and we dont think that it has any bugs, please have a look on this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=57&v=J-kJiXcfwcU
And you could try to configure your browser to remember the password that you setup for the web-interface.

Mohammad Mbydeen14. Februar 2017 at 15:08 #26920Dear NoodlePi,
When you configure Filesystem – mount network paths (Samba or NFS), you can try to create one mount point, and one Sambashare and choose writeable option „Yes“ and the create mode „644“, which guarantee full permission to the folder, then go the folders explorer in Windows, then create the sub folders from there.
I hope that could help.

14. Februar 2017 at 13:23 #26918Dear t0m,
Thank you for the detailed description of your problem, I think your problem is simple, in order to open the web browser on the pi, you should go to Max2Play web-interface and click on Raspberry settings and then scroll down to the end of the web page, you will see :
Install Iceweasel (Firefox Browser) on Desktop:
Click install, then the web browser will be installed.

Mohammad Mbydeen14. Februar 2017 at 12:58 #26917Dear apakett,
You can apply the commands in the link we sent you using bash ssh session, not in the Squeezelite Command Line, and in order to apply these commands you need to install the following plugin:
https://www.max2play.com/en/portfolio/plugin-remote-control/

Mohammad Mbydeen14. Februar 2017 at 12:37 #26916Dear wenkman,
you can try to do a simple test to see if the port accepts connections. you can use the nc command and the”-vz” option:
nc -vz IP_Address Port
for more information you can have a look at:
