Hello arnaju
If you are able to reach the webinterface by name but not by IP, I think because the IP has been changed. If you are using windows, you can know the IP by using nslookup tool in Windows CMD, if you dont want this problem to occur again, you can assign a static IP to your device.

Mohammad Mbydeen20. März 2017 at 12:28 #27801Hi Paden,
From the screen shot that you sent, you just configured the mount point, but also you have to configure External Drives on Max2Play – mountpoints for USB-Storage.
Please take a look on this information:
Network Shares (e.g. shares on Synology Diskstation with SMB/CIFS) are mounted following the example:
*Path (IP or hostname and Path): for type cifs: //IP-ADDRESS/PATH
*Mountpoint on Max2Play (for usage in Squeezebox Server or XBMC): /mnt/mountdir/ Mountpoint must be a subdirectory in /mnt/ OR /media/ and will be generated, if it is not existing.
*Type: mostly cifs (in special NFS setups nfs)
*Options (user, password and other options for network share): e.g. user=name,password=pass,sec=ntlm,iocharset=utf8
*important: always add to the options sec=ntlm!
*Note on NFS-Shares: you must use another Path and no user credentials in options! Example: IP-ADDRESS:PATH or *:PATHUnder External Drives on Max2Play – mountpoints for USB-Storage
there is a list that shows all external storages and their mountpoints. You may access the devices by their path in Squeezeboxserver or XBMC/Kodi. Important: the maximum partition size is 2TB. If using larger disks you need to divide the disk space into partitions smaller than 2TB.Best Regards,

Please make sure that you have installed the sound correctly on the RPI settings and you have configured the correct settings on ausdioplayer plugin and raspberry pi plugin, you should see the sound card as an option in the Audioplayer plugin.
Also it could be a hardware problem. Please send us pics of you can, it might be beneficial for us to help you.

I want to change the Squeezebox server name, you can change the (Player Name) on the setting/Reboot and then the name of the server will be changed, and you can change the player name, by by adding „-n“ to the commandline in Squeezelite on the Audioplayer plugin.

Thank you for your suggestion.
Please note that Jivelite Copyrights and Credits: Logitech, as they developed the software for the Squeezboxes and set it under BSD-License, Triode and Ralphy from Squeezebox-Forum for support and ongoing development of Jivelite. The Jivelite version for Max2Play has some changes for improved support for touchscreens and to activate the clock as screensaver.
Maybe you can post this suggestion on Squeezebox-Forum.

You can login form author device as you mentioned using the web browser, Max2Play is about the usability for setting up a system that is easy to use by beginners, Moreover you can always connect keyboard and mouse to RPI and use Max2Play, but you have to Install Iceweasel (Firefox Browser) on Desktop, on the raspberry setting on the webinterface.

I think that you could not use the 3.5mm audio jack on the RPi as an audio input, please check the following links:
