Mohammad Mbydeen8. Februar 2017 at 13:06 #26753Hello muhackl,
At the moment the woofer volume could only be adjusted via the volume slider in the “Allo” plugin page, moreover PianoDAC with Subwoofer needs a custom Kernel to run and make sure that you install it and then reboot the system, it should not appear for the second time, after you install the Allo plugin, you can find the configuration files in this path /lib/firmware/allo/2.1

The pi should be connected to the network in order to access the web-interface from other device, or you can access it by Installing Iceweasel and connect the pi to display, keyboard and mouse and then open the browser and use the web-interface.

7. Februar 2017 at 14:42 #26722Hello eriche,
Sorry,we could not provide a ‚tailor made solution‘ for you at the moment to use the same sound card to play sound from different sources, but what you could try is to configure the ‚multi-channeling‘ on the sound card, please take a look on those resources:

Please note that squeezelite player is a passive agent for squeezebox server, and it uses only one output, pelase tell us more about your setup and why you really want to use two instances of players 🙂
Is this question is related to this post:
https://www.max2play.com/en/forums/topic/fade-in-out-script/
About “automatic Audio Switch” ,you can find by clicking on Audioplayer page then Shairport, then you will find it below the command line.

Mohammad Mbydeen6. Februar 2017 at 17:00 #26697Dear eriche,
if you are using squeezelite and airplay as players, the solution would be as follows:
1. Leave the Command Line Options empty for the squeezelite player on the audioplyer page.
2. Put the IP of the raspberry pi in Shairport/Squeezelite automatic Audio-Switch for Shairport(Airplay).
3. To get good sound quality, configure the Settings for Master Volume in the card page to the max, then control the sound from the players.Best Regards,

6. Februar 2017 at 14:38 #26692Hello eriche,
Are using only the default audio output on the raspberry pi, or do you have an external sound card, and if you have, what is the brand ?
you can solve this problem by using this command in the squeezelite advanced settings:
-C <timeout> Close output device when idle after timeout seconds, default is to keep it open while player is ‘on’
Please take a look on this page for more details:
https://www.max2play.com/en/wiki/command-line-options-for-squeezelite/
also there is Lowpassfilter and Crossfeed Level Adjuster for Headphones. This is a filter for audiophile usage to change lowpass filter cut frequency and crossfeed level of the audio-output. These settings take effect when using the output „-o headphones“ in advanced settings of Squeezelite. More infos about the filter technique can be found on http://bs2b.sourceforge.net/

Mohammad Mbydeen1. Februar 2017 at 15:51 #26535Hello julandco,
With all the sounds cards that we offer along with RPIs, we recommend our customers to choose the second option, which is Sysdefault to get the highest quality.
You could also connect the volume control for Squeezelite directly to your sound card by adding -o hw:0 -V Digital to the command line options of Squeezelite in its Advanced Settings menu you find in the Audioplayer tab.
for more information, please have a look at this link:

Mohammad31. Januar 2017 at 15:28 #26508Dear TJH,
You can try one of these options when you want to add the printer to Windows:
1.On the Windows computer, open Windows Explorer and go to the „Network“ item. There’s an icon for the Raspbeery pi ; open it. There’s an icon for the printer shared from the CUPs. Right-click that one and select „Connect…“.
2.On the Windows computer, select „Add new printer“ then „Connect to a printer on the Internet or network“ and specify the full path of „http://{Playername}:631/printers/{printername}“
For the Android phone: maybe you can try to use another app.
Best Regards,
Mohammad Mbydeen -
