No, that should not happen. Have you tried another Squeezebox Server version and does the problem occur there as well? Do you find error messages in the server log? You can find the log in the server web interface under Settings > Information.

In general, there should be no problems when you copy the files from one hard disk to another. At least if there is only your media library on the disc and no OS or other programmes are installed on it. Of course, you would have to rescan your library in the Squeezebox server afterwards, which can take a while depending on the size.

so ein Verhalten könnte mehrere Ursachen haben. Wenn dir angezeigt wurde, dass der Speicher voll ist, könnte es helfen herauszufinden, wodurch das gekommen ist. Schließe die SD-Karte also am besten mal per Kartenleser an den PC an und lass ein Analyseprogramm wie TreeSize drüber laufen. In letzter Zeit haben uns Nachrichten erreicht, dass bei einigen wenigen Usern zwei bestimmte Log-Dateien den Speicher vollgeschrieben haben. Vielleicht ist das bei dir auch der Fall.

scheinbar handelt es sich hier um ein Problem mit unserem Image. Wir werden das schnellstmöglich fixen und dir dann hier Bescheid geben. Der Autostart wird grundsätzlich über systemd gesteuert. Der Befehl für den Squeezebox Server ist dabei
update-rc.d -f logitechmediaserver remove. Wahrscheinlich funktioniert dieser Befehl nicht mehr richtig.12. April 2023 at 13:21 #52761Hi Matthias,

logrotate sollte bereits so konfiguriert sein, dass es eine Maximalgröße bzw. Zeit für die Logs gibt, die bestimmt, wann die Logs komprimiert werden. Wir vermuten dass der Fehler in einer bestimmten Max2Play-Version auftaucht. In der neusten Version (die aktuell zwar noch als Beta deklariert ist, allerdings bereits stabil läuft) sollte dieser Fehler nicht mehr auftauchen.

das Problem liegt wahrscheinlich darin, dass logrotate nicht richtig funktioniert hat, da das normalerweise dafür sorgt, dass Logs, die älter als 7 Tage alt sind, automatisch gelöscht werden. Im aktuellen Beta-Image 2.56 sollte logrotate korrekt funktionieren. Eine Lösung wäre also ein frisches Max2Play Image zu brennen.
Grundsätzlich sollte der /var/log Ordner neben den Logs .gz-Archive enthalten, in denen alte Logs gesichert sind. Die Logs selbst sollten keine Einträge enthalten, die älter als 7 Tage sind.

vielen Dank für den Hinweis. Die Version 2.53 sollte eigentlich auch für den Pi 4 geeignet sein. Wir werden uns das mal anschauen.
Es ist richtig, dass der Digi2 Pro nicht in der Soundkarten-Liste auftaucht. Das liegt daran, dass er dieselben Einstellungen verwendet wie der Digi/Digi+. Entsprechend kannst du die Output-Optionen in Squeezelite auch so lassen wie sie sind („sysdefault…hifiberry“). Falls du trotzdem keinen Sound bekommst, kannst du mit dem Befehl
alsamixerper SSH oder unserem Remote Control Plugin überprüfen, ob die Soundkarte richtig erkannt wurde.16. You somehow have two Bluealsa instances running, which could possibly interfere. Maybe try uninstalling Bluetooth on the device (inside the Bluetooth plugin), then update your Max2Play version (under Settings/Reboot) and then reinstall Bluetooth. Try connecting only the smartphone, set the audio player to the correct output and test the direct stream to the sound card again.
You could otherwise check the volume by accessing the Pi via SSH (or with our remote control plugin) and typing
alsamixer. There you can set the output via F6.16. März 2023 at 13:44 #52733Thanks for the clarification. You can’t send an mqtt command with Max2Play itself. However, our home automation plugins like openHAB may help you.
Regardless of this, however, I am not aware of any way to access the current playback of the Squeezebox server with an mp3 stream address. Maybe the developers of the server and plugins can help you. You can contact them via the slimdevices forum.

mit dem Player meinst du Squeezelite auf dem Pi? Oder nochmal einen anderen Hardware-Player? Grundsätzlich macht es für dich wahrscheinlich Sinn, den DAC des Verstärkers zu nutzen, statt noch zusätzlichen einen DAC auf dem Pi zu installieren. Inwiefern sich eine USB-Verbindung zu einer optischen hörbar unterscheidet ist schwierig zu sagen. Du könntest natürlich beides einmal ausprobieren und schauen, ob du Unterschiede wahrnehmen kannst. Prinzipiell müsste die optische Übertragung rauschfreier sein, da es bei der USB-Signalübertragung zu mehr Interferenzen kommen kann.
Das könntest du also mal ausprobieren und schauen, ob und wann die Aussetzer auftauchen. Natürlich solltest du Software-Player und Verstärker bei der Wiedergabe immer angeschaltet lassen, damit das Ganze auch funktioniert.

The DLNA server on the Max2Play device should be discoverable by DLNA enabled devices on the network. Since BubbleUPnP finds it, we know it works. So there seems to be some kind of problem with your streamer or maybe there is a compatibility issue here as well.
You could try to use the DLNA plugin for the Squeezebox server to use the streamer as a squeezebox player.

You could use a DLNA app like BubbleUPnP to search for the mini DLNA server. If the server can be found via such an app, the problem is probably with your streamer. If the DLNA server cannot be found, try reinstalling it.

Could you go into more detail about the way the system is supposed to work and how the M2P client is supposed to output the mp3? If I understand you correctly, you want to use the mqtt as an additional player? How can the mqtt receive audio? With Max2Play, it is possible to stream audio to players in various ways, e.g. Bluetooth, Squeezelite, Airplay or DLNA. The question is what the mqtt supports as input.

dafür müssten wir erstmal herausfinden, was dafür verantwortlich ist, dass die Logfiles so groß werden. In dem Fall wäre es also gut zu wissen, ob z.B. eine bestimmte Meldung immer und immer wieder in das Logfile geschrieben wird und wodurch diese Meldung zustande kommt. Falls das Ganze nochmal passiert, versuche die Logs zu öffnen (zum Beispiel mit dem Befehl less oder anderen Tools zum Öffnen großer Textdateien) und den Übeltäter zu identifizieren. Ansonsten ließe sich mit logrotate wahrscheinlich die Größe der Logfiles limitieren.

-e dsdto the command line options in the advanced settings of your player (if you use Squeezelite). -
