26. Dezember 2019 at 18:35 #47833Have the same problem, I think. I have HiFiBerry + on RPi2 Max2Play and – SqueezePlay player on Win10 which plays the TTS but none of the Squeezelite on Max2play installs are playing the TTS from the URL sent. I downloaded the file in LMS music folder and it plays fine on squeezelite/max2play- so is NOT as I saw on some forums a too short mp3 file or sampling rate not supported. Some are saying something about https – cannot find it right now – Any suggestions? – I did look on a lot of posts but so far no luck.

Thanks-19. März 2016 at 23:21 #19378Of Course but never had to
By default is enabled on most of Linux flavours
I usually had to do the other way around
Disable root ssh in19. März 2016 at 22:38 #19374Something else going on
Did it many times with no problems
Did you try ssh in as root?
Did you change anything else?19. März 2016 at 21:56 #19371ssh in as pi
sudo passwd root
Enter whatever passwd u want
Then wscp as root9. März 2016 at 19:34 #19181… and the new Raspbian release is, of course, still compatible with all previous Raspberry Pi models
9. März 2016 at 19:31 #19180I installed many times max2play on Rpi2 with raspbian jessie (not only) already installed and customized for my needs — for different tests I did
Just use the ’script“ – it may take a while but it does the job with no problems .. so far 😉7. März 2016 at 18:20 #19162yes after I discovered another post in forums – took me a while to find the forums – No idea it was Under help menu
and did post my tests there5. März 2016 at 20:21 #19135Enabled and installed Rpi camera
Similar errors as I mentioned above using latest Raspbian download and max2play install script

Cool!5. März 2016 at 19:47 #19132Kodi – wow! very snappy
( I didn’t try it since a while ago on Rpi B – unusable then)
ha! I see a Kodi start in JiveLite – cool Blocks JL until Kodi exits – similar with what i need
Works with NO issues from Rpi 3 and from Web max2play Control
Super5. März 2016 at 19:33 #19131Max2Play beta image loaded
Installed lightdm since I need the pi to open in GUI
Tried JiveLite – it works
However I’m having a problem with how it work s- probably nothing to do with beta or RPi3
If Desktop Boot option auto log in as pi is selected in raspi-config and auto start JiveLite ion Max2play Jivelite settings
neither desktop or JiveLite shows on the screen
Jivelite is running – I checked but no Desktop on main
However switching desktops it does show – 2 of them!
Closed one of them ( taskbar visible) then switched back and forth between deskptops
quit Jivelite – none running
Tried to restart from web interface from another computer
Trying to launch … NOT successful Click here to show detailed information

left autostart on Jivelite and reboot
JiveLite starts and display on current desktop
Quit from Jivelite menu button still not working
Quit from taskbar x works leaving the desktop up but
Quitting ( Stop JiveLite) form web gui quits the desktop
I cannot win!!! 🙁
What i need is JiveLiet on the screen with NO taskbar, quitable from his own Quit button or sending a command to another program, bringing that program in foreground and show back up when the ‚other ‚ program is done
Example
I have camera with Motion detector or Door bell Ring event( some event detected by a background program) which triggers the Video image to show on the screen.
I really lie JiveLite/LMS combo an don’t feel like looking for alternative
Can it been done? – maybe I s’d post all this part in a separate one 😉Checking camera and kodi next
