Hi Martin,
Sorry about the late response. I was on holiday for the last week and am still catching up.
The error says that your login name is missing. I set up a tester and got the plugin running successfully with our premium account.
Please make sure you still have Spotify Premium and that your output device is still correct and that your other players are not running or are already configured for automatic switch.
26. Februar 2018 at 12:32 #34084Hi andrew,
Sorry about the late response. I was on holiday over the last week.
I am happy that you found your own solution, nonetheless, you should be able to mount a SambaShare right in LMS. Did you try selecting the parent folder mnt/ itself for LMS?
26. Februar 2018 at 10:34 #34081Hi albert,
Were you able to contact the manufacturer yet? As mentioned, our USB sound card selection loads the default drivers for USB DAC’s. So if there is anything that needs to be handled differently with this one, let us know.
15. Februar 2018 at 16:13 #34026Hi BlueSnake,
15. Februar 2018 at 16:06 #34025Hi thanat,
Just checked with our Stretch Beta image and it works right away. You can find the image on our download page. I tested Headset out.
15. Februar 2018 at 15:53 #34024Hi andrew,
Best way to mount with Max2Play is to use the Filesystem Mount menu of our web interface. You’ll just have to enter the credentials as stated in the examples shown below each parameter and click save to mount any share in the directory of your choice.
Please do make sure to delete the manual mount beforehand.Regarding the scan issue, please make sure that the files and folders do not have any special rights, protections or formats, to rule those out as possible sources of error.
15. Februar 2018 at 15:48 #34023Hi gstalnaker,
I am sorry to hear that. We wish you would have been able to experience Max2Play in a similar to fashion to most other users here and really wish to have found out what caused the issues with your LMS install as this has not been reproducible with any other device or user thus far. However, we do wish that you will find your ideal setup and we also very much appreciate your kind words on our UI.
14. Februar 2018 at 18:19 #34011The hifiberry output should work. Squeezelite and Shairport are both not running and have autostart removed? Please reboot to be sure.
Please also make sure your login is Spotify Premium. Please also share the debug info on the Spotify Connect page when are start fails.
14. Februar 2018 at 18:00 #34009Hi Martin,
I checked and with a default image you should be able to launch the player right away after installation.
Possible issues might be:
– YourOutput Device
. It should have the name of your sound card in the title and start with default or sysdefault.
– Your other Audio Players. Make sure they are not running with the same output device.14. Februar 2018 at 17:56 #34008Hi geitje,
What is your mountpoint in M2P and could you try mounting without the
_netdev
parameter? Also, if it’s not too much of a hassle, could you try using a new, custom login for M2P to rule out any issue with the existing one?
(Version Pi, M2P, Soundkarte)
14. Februar 2018 at 11:57 #34002Danke, bitte melde dich noch, falls die Funktionalität ausfallen sollte.
14. Februar 2018 at 11:38 #34000Hallo Nymphen,
14. Februar 2018 at 11:36 #33999Hi patrick,
14. Februar 2018 at 11:34 #33998Hi Bluesnake,
14. Februar 2018 at 11:26 #33997Hi Frank,
Vielen Dank für den Follow-Up! Freut mich, dass es jetzt funzt 🙂
14. Februar 2018 at 11:24 #33996Hi Myself65 und std,
Februar 2018 at 11:18 #33995Hi guys,
@Knut: Thank you for helping out and for your insight! 🙂
14. Februar 2018 at 11:10 #33993Thanks for the quick update, I’ll mark the topic solved 🙂
13. Februar 2018 at 16:58 #33986Hallo am,
13. Februar 2018 at 16:56 #33985Hi dcassin,
Could you put the -C 5 in front of the other parameters?
If this still does not solve the issue, please contact us via email and we can make sure this is a hardware defect that needs replacement.
13. Februar 2018 at 15:57 #33984Hi macpac,
Sorry about that, but with 5W you should at least get some output from the MiniAmp. If possible, I would advise you to try out another speaker in the same range to make sure they are not the whole problem.
13. Februar 2018 at 15:53 #33983Hi majones,
Thanks for reporting. It’s a little bit of both. We are also currently checking out another solution for BT under Stretch. 🙂
13. Februar 2018 at 15:51 #33982Hi patrick,
It’s in the RPi-Display menu: https://www.max2play.com/en/portfolio/plugin-raspberry-pi-touch-display-2/
12. Februar 2018 at 13:46 #33958Hi majones,
Are you using the Stretch Beta of Max2Play? BT is still a work in progress there. Generally, you have to select „pulse“ Bluetooth input and output. For discussing Bluetooth in general, please refer to a relevant topic.
12. Februar 2018 at 13:44 #33957Should not be the case, any and all USB plug and play input devices are usually immediately recognized and usable for control.
Did you make sure that cursor is not deactivated?
12. Februar 2018 at 13:41 #33956Hi Daniele,
Please first try adding the following paramter to your command line options in Squeezelite:
-C 5
Make sure that hardware volume control is correctly working. (volume sliders should automatically adjust to changes in volume in the LMS interface)
The previous entries in the command line options of Squeezelite should be
-o hw:0 -V Digital
when built-in audio is deactivated in the Raspberry Settings.12. Februar 2018 at 12:08 #33955Hi hockel,
So far, there has not been a lot of requests for 5.1 audio playback in our community. Most audiophiles prefer 2.0, or in some cases 2.1, for which we created the Piano 2.1 DAC solution.
There is this solution, which should work for Max2Play as well. But it is rather niche.
But generally, Squeezebox was designed for 2.0 playback and your best bet for anything with surround sound is using Kodi 😉
12. Februar 2018 at 12:00 #33953Hi Rob,
12. Februar 2018 at 11:57 #33952No problem, just connect a simple USB mouse and the Pi should automatically detect it and let you use it in Jivelite. Just make sure you don’t have the cursor disabled in your settings (this makes sense for touch control but obviously not for mouse use).
