    Hi geloe,

    Hi,

Thanks for sharing. Could you also share the error message you got, after reinstalling with the button in Spotify Connect menu, reentering credentials and making sure Squeezelite is not occupying the same output option?

    Hi Leute,

    Hi bt,
Thanks for pointing this out. Could share your debug info log in the Kodi web interface here?

We now updated the build of librespot for our Spotify Connect to account for some new changes.

Just click „reinstall“ and it should work again.

    Hi Michael,

Updates and the like of other software should work the same as with other installs of Raspbian Jessie lite-based images.

Try using sudo (root pw is „max2play“) to execute the upgrade.

    Hi contax,

The issue seems to be related to the version 7.9 nightly of LMS. Please try installing the 7.9 proper version.

    5. März 2018 at 16:25 #34220

In the meantime, you can use the Spotty Plugin on the Squeezebox Server (install version 7.9).

Here’s the How-To on setting it up.

    Hi Thomas,

Most of our users have the Squeezebox system running which has a lot of great dedicated apps, including iPeng for iOS. But it also comes with DLNA and AirPlay plugin preinstalled, so you can also use these protocols to play music from your phone.

Check out the graphics on this page to see how the Squeezebox system works on Max2Play.

    Hi geloe,

    Hi Quasinix,

Entschuldige die Unannehmlichkeit. Die Version 7.9 Nightly scheint seit diesem Wochenende Probleme hervorzurufen.

    5. März 2018 at 15:48 #34214

    Hi 7Zoll,

Danke für die Info. Wir werden dies mal genauer prüfen.

    5. März 2018 at 15:03 #34213

    Hi guys,

Thanks for sharing. The issue seems to be exclusive to the 7.9 nightly. For now, please install the normal 7.9 version.

We will look into this and update the thread when we found out what’s wrong with the Nightly.

    Hi kraker,

The image download beta is different from the beta update on a normal version. The image beta is based on Raspbian Stretch, a different version of the Debian structure Max2Play is built on.

By doing a beta update from a normal image (based on Raspbian Jessie lite), you only get the newest bug fixes and changes to our proper release. Thus, you can just download the normal standard image and do a beta update.

@linlar: Wow, that box looks great! Thanks for sharing

    Hi,

    Sorry about the confusion.

    – The versions are only 7.9 and 7.9 nightly when you select them. You do not need to manually enter a URL, it’s inserted when you select.
    – The player is „Squeezelite“ in the Audioplayer menu. If it’s running it shows up on the LMS in the top right corner under the name of your Max2Play device.
    – The activation does not require entering any credentials. Just use the Spotify app on your phone or tablet, select the player with the name of your Max2Play device and the LMS has authenticated your premium account and can now run Spotify on all players.
    – You just need to deactivate the other Spotify plugins.

    Hi bigsur,

Sorry for the trouble, it should not be such a hassle.

Glad you got it working, though 🙂

    Hi contax,

It’s in the web interface menu of Squeezebox Server at the end of the page.

    Hi guys,

Thanks for pointing this issue out for us.

We now added a fix in our most current beta. If you have an active DHCP server before the update, the beta update’s yellow text should include a notification „Disabled DHCP Server DNSMASQ“ in the details.

    1. März 2018 at 17:45 #34166

    Hi guys,

We added a check for the version of Raspberry Pi in our most current beta of Max2Play. This makes sure the correct version for ZeroW, B+, etc. is installed and not just the newest one which is not compatible with these boards. You can test it out after making a beta update.

    1. März 2018 at 17:43 #34165

    Hi Silax,

You can use our Lowpass filter integration and its structure as model for yours (reuse and replace our pcm with yours). Just click „install“ in the last paragraph of our Audioplayer plugin and it is installed. You can also check out our github for more details.

    Hi contax,

    Should be 2,4GHz only. (Source)
Regarding LMS, could you share the debug info when trying to start?

    1. März 2018 at 13:50 #34160

    Hi there,

This error message seems to be related to this issue shared on github.

To make sure it is not a general issue, please try running Spotify via the Spotty plugin on LMS. (How-To)
