Hi Ben,
The newest version of Max2Play has been running exclusively on Pi for a while now. But we have older versions running smoothly for some Odroid machines that are based on Ubuntu (XU4, U3, C1, etc.). You can find them in our download section.
23. April 2018 at 16:43 #35281Hallo Maddin,
23. April 2018 at 16:35 #35280Hi arctoeric,
Try removing any periphery and running the Pi close to your router to rule out any hardware or physical distance as sources of error.
Also make sure your Pi’s WiFi antenna is unobstructed. Steel cases do not let out a good signal for example.
23. April 2018 at 16:06 #35277Hi eriche,
23. April 2018 at 14:11 #35276Hi guys,
You need to burn a new image in order to get the Stretch version of
Sorry about the late response, I was on holiday. For the mount, you need to add the last parameter that’s listed in the examples „vers=1.0“ now.
LMS refers to the Squeezebox Server.
If you have any other specific questions, please let me know.
23. April 2018 at 13:37 #35275Hi contax,
Have you tried playing a common radio channel to rule out the file format or rights as a source of error? Please also try selecting „none“ in the HiFiBerry plugin, rebooting, reselecting the Digi+ and rebooting once more.
23. April 2018 at 11:56 #35272Hi cramcram,
Did you update from an existing image or burn a new Stretch Image? How did you integrate the file into the new system: USB mount, network mount or Samba? I will try to recreate the issue here.
23. April 2018 at 11:55 #35271Hallo Michael,
Danke für deine Anfrage, ich habe auf deine Email geantwortet.
23. April 2018 at 10:52 #35267Hi sadglad,
Did you install the new Stretch Image? If not, please try burning this version and updating it to 2.46 to get the newest Max2Play.
23. April 2018 at 10:51 #35266Hi airheader,
Tidal is not a premium plugin and not handled by us. Unfortunately, third-party players do not work with mysqueezebox.com plugins while our server installation does.
23. April 2018 at 10:49 #35265Does it only occur on the first instance or does the share disappear periodically after being created?
23. April 2018 at 10:32 #35263Hallo minigl,
Entschuldige die Verwirrung. Die Plugins Jivelite und RPi-Display sind in der Tat Premiumplugins und können nur mit einer aktiven Lizenz genutzt werden.
13. April 2018 at 12:06 #35163Ah, so you also want to feed via AirPlay? This is a very peculiar setup 😀
For feeding, you need shairtunes2, however, I do not know how well these two plugins interact. Perhaps ask about this specific setup in detailed terms on slimdevices. They might have another hint for you 😉
13. April 2018 at 11:32 #35161Hi Arianna,
There isn’t one yet. But you can create one with our plugin builder and the youtube guide!
You can also already use the CLI commandline and HTTP requests to incorporate most features of Max2Play in an existing home automation system.
13. April 2018 at 11:14 #35159You are talking about shairtunes2, this is AirPlay Birdge:
After lots of tests and help (especially from epoch, thanks!) I can release a first version of a new bridge that allows AirPlay devices (speakers and a lot of AV amplifier from Marantz, Denon …) to be used as if they were regular LMS players. Compared to my other bridges, it brings replaygain, gapless, fading (in/out/cross) and … what was the most important for me: synchronization with other LMS players.
If you have questions about the plugin, you can best head to the slimdevices forum for expert advice.
13. April 2018 at 10:04 #35156Hi ih8gates,
Okay, if the problem happens again, please share as much info as you can in this topic and I’ll try to recreate it here.
Glad to hear, it did not happen again, though 🙂
12. April 2018 at 15:52 #35150Hi Toby,
Since we have a lot of people running the BOSS on Pi3, I would assume this issue should be specific to your Pi.
While we cannot confirm continuous use for a week, we have been running tests with BOSS cards for a long while now and have not been able to recreate a setup with the card disappearing.
12. April 2018 at 14:13 #35147Hi Toby,
If possible, you can try running the Stretch image to see if the issue disappears. We switched our BT solution from pulse to bluealsa for Stretch, so might also solve your BT issue.
12. April 2018 at 14:11 #35146Hi Ben,
There’s a plugin that might be ideal for your setup. [Discussion Thread]
12. April 2018 at 11:45 #35143Installiere bitte einmal neu von der Max2Play-Quelle und wähle das Joggler Skin.
Ist dein Touchdisplay der offzielle von Raspberry Pi 7 Zoll?
12. April 2018 at 9:23 #35138Hi air_lii,
Do you have an overview of the device’s recognized in your network and can you manually delete them?
Please also try updating your system if you have not yet.
11. April 2018 at 18:02 #35132It seems to be related to the router’s device list. If you find your pi there, remove the entry and try rebooting the pi.
11. April 2018 at 13:32 #35122Hi audiomike,
You can add an automatic rescan for new files in the advanced settings of LMS („Rescan Music Library“).
You can also use our Speech Control Plugin to find out how to use the CLI command for restarting LMS on another device or service.
11. April 2018 at 13:20 #35121Hi jcrawf32,
If you are using Kodi, please check the audio settings for audio output.
With Squeezelite, please check the sound card option in advanced settings.
11. April 2018 at 13:18 #35120Hi Tim,
Thanks for the follow-up. We are currently working on the print server fix, among other smaller bugs for our next.
11. April 2018 at 11:36 #35119There should be a Blue Text in the middle named Debug Info. When clicking it a window should drop down.
11. April 2018 at 9:53 #35117Hi airlii,
Please try renaming the Pi. This fixed the issue for us and it did not come back.
10. April 2018 at 16:35 #35109Hi maddin,
As mentioned before, the EQ only works without hw volume control. In that case, all volume regulation reduces the optimal output. so if you have any sliders on any software regulated down, this is the reason why your output with EQ is so low.
10. April 2018 at 16:12 #35108Hi peeble,
Please create a new topic in the future, this is just a general topic.
Try rebooting the Pi and check another app or interface for the LMS to see if the problem is universal.
10. April 2018 at 14:52 #35107We are currently looking into this and hope to have a fix very soon. Thank you for sharing this issue.
