Hi Martin,
I was not able to test iOS Spotify app in recent time, but will do so now and try to recreate the issue. Thank you for the kind words and the detailed report 🙂
22. Mai 2018 at 15:12 #35807Hi Chad,
Sorry about the inconvenience. However, USB sound card implementation is indeed a premium feature in the Raspberry Settings premium plugin.
But, you can use our audioplayers with I2S sound cards and the Pi’s HDMI and audio jack output without premium and see if interface and playback options are to your liking before buying a license for your USB sound card.
22. Mai 2018 at 14:44 #35805Hi Christophe,
Please try using the HiFiBerry plugin, selecting „none“, rebooting, selecting „Amp2“, rebooting. Then select simple playback there.
22. Mai 2018 at 14:42 #35804Hi oliver,
It is probably due to your LMS bridging the gap between two wireless connections (your Squeezebox and your phone).
22. Mai 2018 at 14:41 #35803Hi gchip,
Thank you for the feedback. Could you tell us your error when using our mount menu?
22. Mai 2018 at 14:37 #35802Hi Mike,
I tried again with your setup, my file was also ca. 55 mb. Jessie image with configured LMS to Stretch image with freshly installed LMS. The Jessie version had an older install of LMS 7.9.0 while the Stretch had LMS 7.9.1.
Unfortunately, I could not reproduce your error. With LMS running, I again got:

Please share your debug info from the Squeezebox Server menu.
Since I have not heard back from cramcram, I assume he is yet to try using a normal browser instead of Samba. Please let me know if you can reproduce Mike’s error.
If so, please share your debug info log.
18. Mai 2018 at 13:35 #35759Please share your mount info so I can see what might have caused the issue.
18. Mai 2018 at 13:34 #35758Hi hong,
I will address the mount issue in the corresponding topic.
Regarding UI, you can also use the Squeezebox Server’s own web interface to control all aspects of playback for all Squeezelite players in the network.
18. Mai 2018 at 12:41 #35754Hi hong,
Try using 777 for rights.
Also, check the rights and restrictions on these folders in your NAS, they might be secured somehow which pervents them from being properly scanned by LMS.
17. Mai 2018 at 11:10 #35738Hi gamelive,
Danke für das Update. Du nutzt also keinen Router sondern einen Accesspoint? Das wird wahrscheinlich der Grund gewesen sein, dass die Verbindung über automatic Access Point nicht richtig funktionierte.
17. Mai 2018 at 11:09 #35737Hi LeDock,
With 2.46 Stretch, the warning This feature is not Available yet for the Stretch Max2Play version. Please use the direct streaming until the Squeezebox Server Option is available. should not appear in the web interface anymore.
Did you install Bluetooth before updating? If so, please uninstall Bluetooth and reinstall.
17. Mai 2018 at 9:22 #35733Then it does not seem to be connected to your CPU.
Do the dropouts also occur when using another playback source than AirPlay?
Also, if you are connected via WiFi, could you try recreating the issue on ethernet to rule out wireless connectivity as a source of error?
16. Mai 2018 at 14:02 #35720Hi bisesik,
Did the error occur before you selected USB sound card as well?
Also, did you get the following yellow text after waiting approx. 5 min. of installation:
This installer for USB-Hiface Soundcards installs the latest Kernel official Kernel with Kernel Headers, compiles a modified module and sets this module (snd-usb-hiface) to autostart – this might take a while…

In the Jivelite web interface menu there is a Button „Add Power OFF Button (Shutdown Device)“, please make sure you have done that.
16. Mai 2018 at 13:52 #35718Hi Justin,
Do you want to use HDMI output instead of the DAC? If you want to use both, add MultiSqueeze for another Squeezelite player.
Please check the your Squeezelite’s sound card option. There should be several options with bcm2835 and HDMI in the title, any of those should get you output from HDMI. Also, make sure your build in audio is not deactivated in the Raspberry Settings.
16. Mai 2018 at 13:48 #35717Hi gamelive,
Falls dein Router WPS hat, versuche es damit noch einmal.
Guck außerdem einmal im Webinterface deines Routers, ob der Pi eine Verbindung aufbauen konnte und ob Max2Play als Gerät dort auftaucht nach dem Prozedere.
15. Mai 2018 at 16:03 #35705Hi sf,
Good news! We updated the Adafruit installer to the new Stretch solution in our newest beta. Try burning a new Stretch image, updating to beta and installing the Adafruit 2.8 again.
15. Mai 2018 at 16:00 #35701Hi Tim,
Good news! The newest beta update adds special rights to user pi that let you add printers. Try making a beta update and reinstalling CUPS 😉15.
15. Mai 2018 at 14:01 #35697Hi Neil,
Thanks for the update.
Does that mean you do not have any issues with the display under Stretch anymore?
14. Mai 2018 at 16:30 #35679Hi NeilH,
Thanks for the info and sorry about the late response. I will look into this personally and see if there is a possible bug.
14. Mai 2018 at 16:12 #35676However, in your second post you wrote without external DAC it works as it should without falls
14. Mai 2018 at 15:28 #35675Hi cramcram,
The back-up should work completely from your PC via web interface and without SambaShare. Just download the file from the old Max2Play and upload it via web interface to the new one. I tested this here without a problem, it even migrated the Spotify login from Spotty.
You should get these infos after clicking restore (having selected your file from Explorer or other file manager on PC):

14. Mai 2018 at 14:50 #35671that is very odd.
Do you have some periphery connected via USB? Also, what does the health checker say during playback?
14. Mai 2018 at 11:54 #35668Hi Jörg,
