You’re right, if you installed LMS and some other plugins, this might amount to this much occupied space and the remainder should indeed still be enough for the backup to work. Could you try taking the original LMS‘ file again to rule out the file as a source of error?
Also, could you detail your current setup including active plugins and application so I can rule out any interferences?
It is still odd, that Max2Play occupies over 80 percent of the card. If you are using a Stretch image, your partition should have automatically been resized, same with newer Jessie images. E.g. in our 8 GB cards, Max2Play occupies ca. 32 percent.
Jivelite is our recommended solution for a graphic user interface. You can activate autostart to make sure the HDMI output goes to Jivelite immediately after initiating the desktop.

– 5″ Touch
-> Wir haben leider nur ideale Umsetzung der Jivelite Touchsteuerung für den 2.8″ Watterott und den 7″ Raspberry Touchdisplay. Nur letzterer ermöglicht eine gleichzeitige Nutzung von HAT Soundkarten und einen direkten Anschluss an den RPi display port.
– Now WiFi
Access Point Setup Plugin ermöglicht dir, Max2Play im Standalone Modus zu betreiben. Richte vorher alles, was Internetressourcen benötigt, ein.
– Bluetooth
-> Im Input sollte man alles vom Smartphone streamen können.
– Power Management
-> Bei Nutzung von WiFi, Bluetooth, Touchscreen UND zwei Festplatten ohne eigene Stromversorgung, kann der Pi an seine Grenzen stossen, auch mit gutem Netzteil für den AMP2. Geh sicher, dass dies in der Tat gut ist 😉
