30. Juli 2018 at 16:20 #36789Hi Udo,
Very odd, have you tried logging in via SSH, yet?
You can also try manually rebooting the Pi and connect a screen via HDMI to see if Max2Play properly boots.
If this is not the case, you might consider burning a new image, especially if you have the same version from 2 years ago, you might benefit from some changes in the new Stretch image.
Here’s a manual on how to burn a new image.
You can also create a backup of your existing image just in case, here’s how.
30. Juli 2018 at 16:16 #36788Hallo Jens,
30. Juli 2018 at 16:13 #36787Hallo thoto,
30. Juli 2018 at 10:45 #36786Hi idm,
We have not had any experience with this device yet. However, you can try using this manual if you want to set it up for Max2Play. To get root rights, use „sudo su“ in front of your SSH commands.
If you run into trouble, try contacting the Allo support team.
26. Juli 2018 at 12:25 #36766Hallo Andre,
Grundsätzlich gilt aber: To make sure your Speakers are reconnecting automatically on reboot, first start this device and then power up your Bluetooth speakers.
25. Juli 2018 at 16:18 #36756I will try to recreate the setup and see if the issue is universal.
24. Juli 2018 at 10:25 #36749Moin Ralle,
24. Juli 2018 at 9:18 #36748Hallo Ulrich,
23. Juli 2018 at 16:27 #36741Hi jem,
This php, and the whole github as well, should point you in the right direction.
However, I cannot would suggest starting from a backup if you run into problems to make sure your edits have not affected Max2Play overall.
23. Juli 2018 at 16:22 #36740Hi muhackl,
Thanks for updating your progress so quickly and sharing your process! 🙂
23. Juli 2018 at 13:52 #36736Hi wmupchurch,
Thank you for detailing your request and sharing it here.
We will evaluate its possible merits and the logistic feasibility in the future.
23. Juli 2018 at 12:17 #36735Hallo Klaus,
23. Juli 2018 at 9:12 #36733Hi kordas,
Please share the specifics of your mount. Make sure you have no special rights or restrictions on your folders and files, change your username and password for login creating a new one on your drive and make sure you have the same mount format in your drive.
20. Juli 2018 at 14:54 #36700Hi jeff,
Even better, with home assistant you can integrate pretty much any controls of the Squeezebox Server through CLI and HTTP. Check out our Voice Control Alpha Plugin for some furhter info and example commands to implement.
20. Juli 2018 at 14:33 #36698not sure I understand the question, you can activate and deactivate this feature in our WiFi/Lan menu.
20. Juli 2018 at 10:16 #36686Hi alex,
I meant changing your router’s WiFi channel.
However, if you google „WiFi channel Raspberry Pi YOURMODEL“ you should find various discussion on the topic including instructions for alteration.
20. Juli 2018 at 10:12 #36685Hi jeff,
Situation is not bad at all, you can control all Squeezelite units from any Pi in the network running Jivelite.
Generally, I would have indeed recommended going for a more modular approach with ethernet cables connecting all Pi’s centrally and perhaps Amp HAT’s used on each for individual setups. But your setup can work fine this way too with a central place for all Pi’s. Just make sure that the connection with long speaker cables does not lose you any quality in music playback.
But there’s also advantage to your setup. Since you already have the Pi’s with sound card centrally stored and want your rooms with touchscreens, you can use a touchscreen that’s connected directly on the Pi rather than the big 7″ official one by Raspberry Pi.
We have one with a custom Jivelite skin by watterott that works great, but there are also others out there that work well with Max2Play’s Jivelite.
I would suggest you check out one touchscreen-based setup in your environment and see if the handling and control of our Jivelite fits your needs.
19. Juli 2018 at 14:54 #36680Ggf. an einer zu hohen Grundlautstärke. Haben Sie Software-Lautstärke-Regelung in bestimmter integirert? Welche Kommandozeilenoptionen sind in Ihrem Squeezelite Player vorhanden?
19. Juli 2018 at 14:52 #36679Hi jeff,
Thank you for your request.
Could elaborate on your project a little?
Generally, we recommend having all players as well as the server connected to the same network. This, way you can have the touchscreen control installed on any of the devices (preferably Pi 2B or 3B) in the network.
19. Juli 2018 at 13:56 #36678Hi Mike,
Thanks for the feedback, please also post this request in our development subforum, so other users can find it more easily and chime in if they also want this functionality added 😉
18. Juli 2018 at 16:48 #36666Hi atacama,
Thanks for the request.
I recently addressed this feature in another topic:
Depends on many factors, especially how openly accessible AirPlay2 will be.
Here’s the current discussion on it under the plugin we use for our AirPlay solution.
18. Juli 2018 at 13:54 #36663If possible you can try changing the WiFi channel of your device, this has been an issue for some users in the past.
You can also try out a WiFi dongle if you have one available to you, to rule out a hardware defect of your Pi.
18. Juli 2018 at 10:59 #36659Hi whiteecho,
18. Juli 2018 at 10:55 #36658Sorry, I forgot to link to the article 😀
18. Juli 2018 at 9:25 #36656hi jem,
I do not think this is possible at the moment from our web interface.
You might be able to edit wpa_supplicant.conf manually (need to use „sudo su“ before command) as detailed in this post but I have not tested this before and cannot guarantee that it will work.
17. Juli 2018 at 16:05 #36646Does the first device still work if you disconnect the second and repair with the first? If not, please reinstall the Bluetooth plugin from the web interface.
17. Juli 2018 at 15:54 #36642hi jem,
I would recommend using repeaters of the signal or a mesh solution. Individual access points might cause confusion when some settings or credentials differ. However, generally there is no real danger connecting to different access points just as there is no problem with connecting to different networks in general.
17. Juli 2018 at 14:29 #36639Hi NewOne,
Danke für die Rückmeldung.
Sommerliche Grüße aus Leipzig 8)
