Hi Nick,
Thanks for the request.
Please make sure you have no other version of shairtunes in your LMS. Please also make sure you have installed the bugfix in the max2play interface menu „Squeezebox Server“ for shairtunes2.
10. September 2018 at 11:47 #37737Hi bvaughan,
If you set the Creation Mode „777“ you should get both write and read access on both sides, regardless of the login.
10. September 2018 at 11:45 #37736Hallo Jan,
September 2018 at 11:19 #37735Hi Peter,
Thank you for your request.
Does your system run via WiFi or ethernet? If you have not, please try connecting ethernet to rule out your WiFi as a possible source of error.
Also, you can check your Settings/Reboot’s Health Checker to make sure the Pi itself is not overloaded.
10. September 2018 at 11:18 #37734Hi Manu,
Thank you for the detailed documentation.
I would assume that the issue is somehow connected to the change in GPIO mapping.
When you mentioned you had both running simultaneously, did that mean that you could both control the touchscreen and run music through the DAC? Please test this with the normal Raspbian to make sure it is not a hardware issue.

7. September 2018 at 9:17 #37714Hallo Stevie,

Please try using the image burner to create a backup of one of your existing systems and use to boot the fourth Pi to rule out a software issue.
5. September 2018 at 11:05 #37638Hi chrimoe,
4. September 2018 at 16:17 #37632Did you already install both HATs simultaneously running on one Pi or individually?
4. September 2018 at 15:18 #37631Hi steamfan,
Unfortunately, I do not think that AirPlay automatically detects album art in any way with our solutions (shairport and shairtunes2).
It does work very well for our Squeezelite with Jivelite GUI solution, but there is currently no graphic component to AirPlay.
But except for that, the AirPort Express approach is great and goes with our multiroom solutions where you could also always expand to other software features if you are so inclined but can also keep the whole system exclusively to AirPlay playback if you prefer.
3. September 2018 at 14:59 #37628Hi Ravenik,
Easiest way would be to use the Spotty Plugin for the Squeezebox Server which also offers Spotify Connect, now.
3. September 2018 at 13:53 #37627Hi Manu,
Generally, we recommend using only one of the two HAT solutions with each Pi.
You could try a stronger PSU (2.5A recommended).
3. September 2018 at 13:52 #37626Hi fabien,
There is the wave input plugin for Squeezebox input. But this is not implemented in Max2Play and we cannot guarantee a steady solution that will work with your components.
3. September 2018 at 11:27 #37624Hi fabien,
Max2Play and the Raspberry by themselves are not great for audio input.
I would recommend using the box directly connected to your Amp, if it has an analogue output, or using a simple standalone DAC between the two devices.

31. August 2018 at 17:32 #37616Hi dcsooner,
Please try saving your LMS settings in the Max2Play menu, downloading the file and restoring those settings.
31. August 2018 at 10:26 #37614Hi krillin,
Your issue is probably connected to the home network. You can still check your router’s web interface and see if both NAS and Pi are properly recognized and listed in your connected devices list.
You can also check your LMS settings for any possible restrictions and to see if the player shows up in the respective Settings menu.
30. August 2018 at 16:49 #37611Hi everyone,
We have now implemented a captcha for login, in response to the spam topics from last weekend.

30. August 2018 at 13:55 #37609Thanks, I will try to recreate this issue and see if I can find a fix.
29. August 2018 at 16:48 #37606Hi Krillin,
You can just add other parameters when they are separated only by one space.
Did the -s parameter work?
Regarding -C, here’s the explanation from our wiki article:
-C
Close output device when idle after timeout seconds, default is to keep it open while player is ‚on‘ 29. August 2018 at 16:45 #37605Hi dcsooner,
Thank you for posting your issue. Could you share your debug log’s relevant lines here?
27. August 2018 at 17:10 #37592You could still add „hw:0 -C 5“ to the command line options to get rid of the snap.
What have you tried from the topic thus far?
27. August 2018 at 15:55 #37589Sorry I meant the Digi, mixed up with another topic.
Your EQ seems to be active again?
27. August 2018 at 14:49 #37586From a previous post:also, the tips in this topic might help you along.
27. August 2018 at 11:20 #37552Moin Ralle,

August 2018 at 11:20 #37551Hi Raymond,
Thanks for sharing. A lot of Max2Play users already utilize SqueezePlay for their Windows machines. It is indeed a very reliable option for Windows users.
