    If you are using a VPN, you can access the web interface via port 80 with its IP address or under „http://max2play/“. If you are not, we do not recommend accessing it this way due to safety dangers.

    Are the playlist newly loaded every time you restart the system? It might be because you are missing access rights. Please try entering the following command in the console:
    chmod 777 /media/playlists

    Could you share with us, what you entered in the filesystem mount menu and what error messages you received? Mac’s can cause a lot of problems in interaction with Linux or MS, we need to narrow it down in order to try to help you.

    Hi sonicboom,
    Unfortunately, the compatibility between the RPi 3 and the Digi+ is still in the works(https://www.hifiberry.com/2016/03/important-news-on-compatibility-with-the-raspberry-pi-3/). However, your intended setup does not require a HiFiBerry Image, you can achieve this with our normal Max2Play Jessie image, once the Digi+ is compatible.

    We do not recommend doing any apt-get updates with the U3 anymore. The product is not produced by Hardkernel anymore and the new software stops being supported.

    Hi Dolon,
    We actually have implemented a feature for this. In the web interface of Max2Play, you can find the option to „Get Addon Repository from HTTP-URL“ where we have our PVR-Addons-Repositories. Just choose the one for Raspberry Pi, click the Get-Button and you will find, amongst others, the tvheadend addon in the Max2Play Repository in Kodi’s interface under the System Settings in the Addon Manager.

    Hi muhackl,
    You are correct, the drivers for the IQaudIO Pi-DAC are the same as the Pi-DAc Zero. However, the reason why you cannot select the option is because you do not have a valid premium license which is required to activate the Raspberry Settings where the sound card management is handled. After activating the premium license, the option for the DAC will automatically appear in the output section.

    If you started with a Jessie version, not matter which, you can update along and do not need a fresh image. If you started with any non-Jessie image, you need a fresh, jessie one for your RPi3.

    As mentioned in the other thread; thanks for the quick heads-up! We were able to find the issue and fix it. With the newest beta, the problem should be gone. We will also include the fix in all future releases and image downloads, so this error should be eliminated.

    Thanks for pointing out this issue! We fixed it in our current beta and it will be fixed the next official update and all future downloads as well.

    So for now, just update to the newest beta and very soon the issue will be gone altogether.

    Hi Tim,
    Unser Jessie Image ist inzwischen stable und der Amp+ sollte ohne Probleme darauf laufen. Aktuell sollte es lediglich Probleme mit den Karten Digi+ und DAC+ PRO geben.

    There should be a control box in the web interface menu for your display (RPi Touchdisplay plugin) to automatically rotate your screen if this happens.

    You can reinitialize using SSH. Just log into max2play and type the command:
    sudo mount -o remount,rw /

    After that, you should be able to control the settings and your protection.

    Das ist leider nicht möglich, da die Schnittstelle nur für ein Gerät erreichbar sein kann. Bei den günstigen Anschaffungskosten des Raspberry Pi’s würden wir in jedem Fall zu einem zweiten Gerät raten.

    Hast du schon versucht das shairtunes2-addon für den Squeezebox Server zu installieren? Dieser macht alle Squeezelite-Player zu AirPlay-fähigen Playern. Das Addon lässt sich einfach über die Menüseite des Squeezebox Server’s installieren.

    Hi rederikus,
    The Raspberry Settings plugin should already be preinstalled on your Max2Play image. You should see it in your menu bar in the web interface at „http://max2play/“ that you can reach from any device in your local network. The tar file source is just needed to add it in the „Settings/Reboot“ menu for installation of new plugins (http://demo.max2play.com:81/). You can take a look at our Youtube Videos and FAQ’s for more information and tips to optimally use your Max2Play image.

    Kein Problem, die Vorgabe ist 664, da diese sicherer ist. Falls jemand anderes auf dein Netzwerk zugreifen könnte, könnte er so frei mit den Dateien und dem Ordner der freigegeben ist, machen was er wollte, was sicherheitstechnisch problematisch ist.

    Aus technischer Sicht kann die Premiumlizenz auf so vielen Max2Play-Geräten wie nötig aktiviert werden. Als ein digitales Produkt ist es mit jedem Max2Play-Image kompatibel. Allerdings ist Max2Play ein Communityprojekt. Mit jeder Lizenz, die Sie erwerben, leisten Sie einen Beitrag zu dessen Weiterentwicklung und dem Communitysupport.

    Zuerst kann man checken ob der Amp+ genug Saft bekommt. Dafür benötigt man ein 12-18 V Netzteil, sonst kommt es zu Problemen. Dann kann man die anderen Player versuchen um ein Problem mit AirPlay auszuschließen. Squeezelite kommt vorinstalliert und kann mit einem Squeezebox Server (Installer in Max2Play enthalten) bespielt werden. Du kannst natürlich auch versuchen, eine andere Passivbox anzuschließen um dort ein Problem auszuschließen. Ich hoffe diese Ansätze helfen dir den Fehler zu finden. Bei weiteren Problemen, melde dich gern erneut in diesem Thread.

    You need root access to change files in your image. You can either log on as odroid and then as root with the command „su root“ or log in directly with root. The password is „max2play“. However, we do not recommend using this login for usual tasks.

    We have a new BETA image for the Raspberry Pi 3 out on our download page: https://www.max2play.com/en/max2play-image/

    The coming version version 2.28 of Max2Play will also natively support the Raspberry Pi 3.

    However, we cannot guarantee that the transcoding issues will be solved by this new setup.
