Hi Matthias,
Januar 2017 at 18:06 #25577Hi xaver,
Danke für deine Geduld. Bitte versuche, bei erweiterten Einstellungen des SB Servers bei Leistung die Konfiguration der Datenbank auf hoch zu stellen.
5. Januar 2017 at 17:51 #25574Hi kris,
What player do you use and what power supply for the amp+?5. Januar 2017 at 16:54 #25573Hi Marc, Bernard, jnile and nickle,
Bernard: Thanks for the quick guide! However, you will find these options in our web interface as well. They are both boxes that can be checked in the Raspberry Settings to deactivate them, respectively.
Marc, et all: The WiFi connection might not be as stable explaining your issues, depending on the router’s and the Pi’s location.
5. Januar 2017 at 15:57 #25568Hi Allan,
Sorry about the late response. The selection USB DAC activates the default USB sound card driver RPi. You can make sure that the correct driver is selected by checking the advanced options of your player of choice. There, you can also make a tick at „Use USB DAC“ and click „save“.5. Januar 2017 at 15:46 #25567Hi GumbyMan,
Sorry about the late response. If you are using the device for the LMS, you might want to check out our feature for delayed start on boot (it’s in the Squeezebox Server menu). This results in the server starting delayed and thus scanning and indexing the files later when your NAS is ready.
5. Januar 2017 at 15:42 #25566Hi rederikus,
Sorry about the late response. You can find the option „Autostart Desktop“ in the Settings/Reboot menu. Remove the tick there.
5. Januar 2017 at 15:21 #25564Hi dboy,
Sorry about the late response. Your proposed setup should indeed work fine. The server should be able to access, control and stream music to any squeeze player in your local network. Have you tried the Duet on another LMS to rule it out as the source of error?
5. Januar 2017 at 15:18 #25563Hi Forrest,
Sorry about the late response. What is your output in the debug info of the Squeezebox Server’s menu (at the end of the menu page)? Have you tried refreshing the page with CTRL + F5?
5. Januar 2017 at 15:15 #25560Hi Keys,
We recently successfully tested the plugin again with our newest software. You might also want to consult the Slimdevices forums wherein the plugin originated: http://forums.slimdevices.com/forum.php5. Januar 2017 at 14:28 #25555Hi Hilary,
Regarding your radio issues: In the LMS you can also directly load the URL of your preferred radio station. Have you tested this yet?
Regarding your power supply: As you mentioned, HiFiBerry recommends this power supply. Thus, you should not experience any problems, it just cannot deliver as much power as the supplies we recommend. This can be a problem with larger passive speakers and high volume but should not be an issue otherwise.
4. Januar 2017 at 17:33 #25515Hi Trendman,
The additional Power Off option was added in the „Joggler Skin“ which you can install in the web interface.
You should find the custom clock under Settings -> Advanced -> Applet Installer.
The alarm clock feature is only available in the LMS.
3. Januar 2017 at 16:34 #25415Hi mich,
What’s your error message when you enter the SSID and password manually?3. Januar 2017 at 16:31 #25414Hallo Fuselx,
Hier findest du eine Liste der möglichen Kommandozeilenoptionen für Squeezelite: https://www.max2play.com/en/wiki/command-line-options-for-squeezelite/
3. Januar 2017 at 16:18 #25412Hi alex,
You can set a permanent IP address when using LAN in the web interface menu „WiFi & LAN“.3. Januar 2017 at 16:15 #25411Hi heinzelrumpel,
You can find the boot configuration under „boot/config.txt“3. Januar 2017 at 16:04 #25409Hi Oswald,
This might indeed be the case. You can find the Squeezebox Server log in the Max2Play web interface in the menu „Squeezebox Server“ by clicking the debug information below.3. Januar 2017 at 16:01 #25408Hi Ronald,
The indicator that the upper right corner is empty instead of showing a Max2Play player means that the Squeezelite player in the Audioplayer menu is inactive. Please check whether Squeezelite is running in the web interface.
Also, Spotify requires a third party plugin by Triode. Check out out How-To on Spotify for this: https://www.max2play.com/en/how-tos/howto-spotify/3. Januar 2017 at 15:47 #25404Hi Ross,
Sorry about your troubles. Have you tried resetting to the original settings like Tobias did? Also, please check out the video I did on the Filesystem Mount plugin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5B1GVJJGG415. Dezember 2016 at 17:43 #24906Hi guys,
I now did a supplementary Instructable for our Bluetooth plugin’s new feature to complement the video I did on it some weeks ago. Here is the Instructable:

15. Dezember 2016 at 17:31 #24905Hi lynoo,
Sorry about the late response. You might try to recompile the playlists in the Squeezebox Server’s web interface settings (lower right corner). Regarding specific file format issues, you might want to check out the slimdevices forums, there is a lot of discussion on that.15. Dezember 2016 at 17:08 #24904Then issue has to be either with the Squeezelite player if you can really still produce sound output via MPD. Again, please make sure that MPD is not still running, if you remove it from your menu without shutting it down first, it might still be running in the background.
Also, here are some wiki articles that might help you:
15. Dezember 2016 at 14:04 #24902No, Max2Play supports WPS from the first boot. If your router has a WPS button, you can use it to connect your Pi. You can also just configure the WiFi on the web interface when you’re connected through LAN, reboot and remove the LAN cable. Here is a HowTo on WPS: https://www.max2play.com/howtos/howto-wlan-einrichtung-mit-wps-und-max2play/
And here is a video on the WiFi menu: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsEBb_CIJ5A15. Dezember 2016 at 13:06 #24900Sorry, the upper right corner was what I meant. Can you select the max2play player in this section and if so, does it activate your playback?
14. Dezember 2016 at 17:07 #24894Hi Vanda,
Yep, the fix is the same as with IQaudIO cards: You need to deactivate the built-in audio of the Pi in the Raspberry Settings: https://www.max2play.com/en/wiki/sound-card-output-with-kodi/
This way, the Digi+ output is bumped up into the Kodi selection under the aforementioned settings page of Kodi.14. Dezember 2016 at 17:00 #24892Sure, using SSH, you can find the config files for any software. However, depending on your level of customization, the effort might not be worth it with the web interface’s config being very simple and quickly done.
Also, I just tested it and the upgrade Kodi to latest version button now lets you update Kodi to version 16.1-3
14. Dezember 2016 at 15:25 #24875Hi sadglad,
The current default Kodi version on our images is 15.2-2.
Maybe you still have a wheezy-based image. We upgraded to jessie lite some months ago. Please try burning a new image to get a newer version of Kodi from the first boot.14. Dezember 2016 at 15:20 #24874Hi Oswald,
We recommend only ever installing the 7.9 nightly version of the Squeezebox Server. It is the one most compatible with our images as indicated in the web interface menu for the Squeezebox Server installation. -
