12. Februar 2017 at 14:08 #26859Hello i use a Meridian Explorer 2 do you get audio normally say from a network drive or local audio files and it’s just the Shairplay which isn’t working ps did you pick the DAC in advanced settings of Shairplay plus add the ip address of the Pi
11. Februar 2017 at 2:26 #26834Hello try front:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 or hw:CARD=DAC this should also work iec958:CARD=DAC,DEV=0
Also you may need to add an ip address in the shairplay settings it will normally show the right one to use in the example then give the Pi a static address encase it moves
21. Oktober 2016 at 12:24 #23493Been playing around and it looks like front-Explorer2 USB DAC, USB Audio – Front speakers, CARD=DAC,DEV=O is the best option as its the only one which will light up the blue light on the Meridian DAC when playing MQA Audio but you do get the odd random crackle every now and then
22. Juli 2016 at 1:02 #21724Hello these are the only setting i’ve ever changed hope they help
Even does MQA Audio
8. Mai 2016 at 12:01 #20071I always play radio via Tunein which if not showing can be added by going to http://www.mysqueezebox.com/ and adding the app plus others then using the same logging details into your Pi Squeezebox

21. April 2016 at 15:00 #19895After a couple of days of playing about it was to do with Autostart Desktop so unticked Autostart Desktop in SETTINGS / REBOOT and Jivelite loads now without any problems
12. April 2016 at 20:17 #19755Think i’ve fixed the problem after having a good read
If you login to the Logitech Media Server and click the Player Tab and click the Audio box below (see image)
Then change setting to below
Only problem it down samples your Apple Lossless 🙁
8. April 2016 at 19:46 #19719It’s alive 🙂
Installed Squeezebox Server plugin then went into the Logitech Media Server settings and finally found the folder which had to be added which was hidden away in the mnt folder and it’s all working now
Thanks for the help and sorry for being a pain 🙂
8. April 2016 at 17:05 #19718So does the Squeezebox Server need to be running on another PC for this all to work our can it be run from the one single Pi ie install the Squeezebox Server plugin and Jivelite plus Display plugin all on the one Pi ?
8. April 2016 at 10:29 #19707Have to say i give up with Max2Play which is a shame as wasted a bit of money buying a license but fingers crossed it helps make it a bit more user friendly in the future, have gone back to using Moode Audio and just use my PC or iPad as a controller which i can setup in mins
7. April 2016 at 22:28 #19703Just wondered do i need to install Squeezebox Server via the install tab to get Jivelite to play the music on my network drive ?

7. April 2016 at 22:20 #19702Hello have network drive mounted ok the bit i don’t understand is what i use to play the music as just want to use the Pi2 with Touch screen and the network drive or does Max2Play need a Logitech Media Server for it to work which is not something i want to use as this needs to be running all the time on a PC os may as well go back to using Moode Audio or Volumio which work with playing music off my network drive it’s just a pain setting up the screen
Have Jivelite installed but can’t find any access to the network drive ie the WD My Cloud
