First, thanks for a great OS. Being almost completely ignorant of such things I have managed to get this installed on my Rpi3B. I bought the premium version so I could install the Spotify client plugin. While it works for the most part I am experiencing 10 to 40 seconds of no sound before a song song starts and between songs on playlists, albums, etc, etc. I see the song time going up but hear nothing. Also having issues with switching between Spotify and Squeezebox (using Squeezer) controlling both from my Android phone. Probably should mention that I am running the sound through a Schitt Modi Multibit DAC. Thanks for any help that can be offered.

If you are using the Squeezebox Server, I’d recommend using the great Spotty Plugin for it to make your Squeezelites Spotify-compatible. There is even a new Spotify Connect feature included.

I have manually entered my credentials to access the account in the appropriate area. After clicking apply the screen switches and in the Spotify Connect line states that „your player was not found“ Surely it something simple.

Does the playback via LMS web interface produce the same errors?
22. März 2018 at 10:58 #34638Hi macaltec,
You could try running the system on ethernet if you have not yet to rule out WiFi as a source of error.
You can also adjust the settings of the LMS to see if this changes the output quality. (Settings -> Advanced -> Spotty)
22. März 2018 at 15:05 #34658I am not going to pretend to understand what I did but I got it working in some form at least. I saw the „APP“ when I opened Squeezer, clicked on it, curiously clicked something about transfer and music came pouring out of my stereo. Warning, make sure the volume is down before you do such things. I never did see, in Spotify, that I had any additionally available devices. Its all kinda wonky to me, I am now curious if Kodi might work better from a UI standpoint.

You need to access the Spotify player for Spotty via App once for authentication to get started. Is this what you are referring to?
