I installed remote login (ShellInABox) but i cannot login with the given standard passwords pi / max2play (also tried with English keyboard). Where can i reset/change keyword or what other problem could there be?

    Hi justwords,

I just replied to you in another thread – so it’s not the English keyboard. Please make sure you are using the latest Stretch or Buster image from Max2Play. Then enter pi as „max2play login“ and max2play for the password. By the way, the English keyboard was not activated on my test device.

Can I save settings from the older installation so that I do not have to reconfigure everything in the stretch image? I currently use Version Beta-210428 on Raspberry PI 3 (original Max2play-tree, not stretch)

Besides: The reason why I want to use the shell is that Napster does no longer work on my devices, regardless of the LMS-version (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?113593-LMS-8-1-1-and-Max2Play-Napster-Problem/page2)

    Hi justwords,

What exactly do you mean by „original Max2Play-tree“? You can create a backup file for the server in the Squeezebox Server plugin and then upload it again with the new image. Apart from that you can backup your whole image with our image burner plugin. Otherwise you cannot transfer the settings from one image to another.

I mean the old system before stretch. I think there is no way to directly migrate to the new stretch-image.

Then you probably use our Jessie image. In this case, I would definitely recommend an update to Stretch or Buster, as we no longer actively support Jessie.
