Hi,
I’m new to Max2Play. I was previsously on Volumio, then Moodle on my RPiZ. Since I wanted to have multiroom streaming, I installed LMS on my Synology and Max2play on the RPiZ.
I know that PhatDAC is not officially supported by Max2Play but I saw a post reporting it’s working with Hifiberry DAC as soundcard ().
I think I did everything I should:
- Buy licence Max2Play
- Install Hifiberry DAC plugin (not way to change volume, it’s going back to 0 each time)
- Set soundcard to „sysdefault – snd_rpi_hifiberry_amp, Default Audio Device, sndrpihifiberry“
The player is recognized by my LMS and I can launch music, but … no sound output !
Did I miss something ? Is there somewhere a log I can look at connecting via ssh ?Regards,
B15. Mai 2017 at 15:47 #28863Hi Mohammad,
Thanks for your reply, I will get it this evening when I’ll be back home.
By the way, is there a simple way to perform just a dummy sound output test, to check only the soundcard, independantly from the audioplayer ?Best regards,

15. Mai 2017 at 23:49 #28869Hi again Mohammad,
My bad.
I had „-o hw:0 -V Digital“ – I don’t remember where I found this settings, while I was trying to fix the initial volume problem – I just changed it to „-V Digital“ only and now it’s working perfectly. Thanks anyway 😉
Best regards,B.
