I’m new to max2play so please apologize in advance if I should say something stupid.
Actually I’ve done all setups to my RPi with Justboom Digi+ (spdif-HAT) and all works fine so far.
I’m listening to locally stored albums from SD-Card. But as you can imaginge, there are LOTS of
albums and despite I’ve sorted them into cathegories, KODI/KORE spits them all in one rush to me.
This is not quite comfortable. I’d love to pre-select the stuff by top-folders, as I sorted them on SD-Card.
So this is my question/suggestion: Is there any chance to preselect all albums by folders from SD-Card?
Ie: Classic, Pop, Soundtracks, and so on… (don’t point me to the chance chosing by genre: it does not
work reliably without check and edit ALL TAGs)
Probably this is already possible – if so, how? If not, is there any chance to implement this in KODI and/or KORE?
Our Kodi install is primarily intended for video and is just a direct install from the original Kodi. So based on the version installed, you can use the exact same documentation and help sections for Kodi in general.
However, for music we recommend using the Squeezebox System with Squeezebox Server and Squeezelite. It is much more comfortable and powerful and has its own graphical interface with the Jivelite plugin. Also, its music library management works better. Check out our Audioplayer section under „Features“ in the top bar of Max2Play to see how it works.
