    Hi,

Firstly this is not a major problem.

If I have a large group of synced players, around 5 (a mix of M2P Pis and Logitech squeezeboxes), sometimes the music stops for a few seconds and I assume its rebuffering or resyncing. However I think I have isolated this to my Squeezebox touch. Is there a setting on either the touch or server that can stop this being an issue by improving the buffer etc….. The touch is suggesting that the WIFI signal is 100% so I don’t know where to start.

    I love M2P. I use it everyday.

    Hi Nick,

In the Squeezebox server settings there are a few adjustment options for buffer sizes. On the one hand you can set the buffer size for radio streams under Advanced/Network. On the other hand, you can change buffer parameters under Player/Synchronization. You can also set similar values for the player in Squeezelite’s command line options. If you play a little with these settings, you may be able to improve your connection. Apart from that, I can only recommend that you connect all of your players to the Internet via LAN, since WiFi is more susceptible to fluctuations and short interruptions and can therefore also be a reason for the synchronization problems.
