Dear All,
Sorry, beginner, my first Raspberry. And I thought it was easy ;-(. And yes, I googled this forum up and down to find help, try and error for a couple of hours also looked at all the relevant videos I could find. So, appologize for the basic questions. How do I get this to work?
My setup:
Rasberry Pi3B+
Hifiberry AMP2I got the bundle from you guys M2P.
The goal is to use my build in speakers in the bathroom Visaton DL 13/2T. Is the hifiberry AMP2 suitable for these? I tried also other speakers.
What I got to work:
– Connection to Network
– Access to M2P screen and settings
– The MPD Player starts
– I can open web interface and select radio channelThen it ends, no sound. Sometimes I get the error in the player of cannot adjust mix.
Are my player settings correct? see screen1
Same for the rasberry settings? see screen2 and 3.Below also debug info.
Thanks for the help, I am lost.
Hanspeter

I just tested on the device to make sure there is no general error.
After selecting „Amp2“ in the HiFiBerry plugin and rebooting, I selected Starter and rebooted.
Afterwards, your sound card settings in MPD should be:
Sound Device default:CARD=sndrpihifiberry snd_rpi_hifiberry_dacplus, Default Audio Device Audioformat 192000:24:2 Mixer Device default Mixer Control Digital
29. Januar 2019 at 18:25 #44233Hi Heiner
Thanks for prompt reply.
Done that. Just no sound. All settings look good and Players starts fine. just not sound.
Is there something I can do wrong with connecting the speakers Red -> +, black -> -. Are the Visaton DL 13/2 suitable?
Thanks
Hanspeter
30. Januar 2019 at 13:17 #44238Hi Hampi,
Can you copy the log from your MPD player and your soudn card settings here again?
7. Februar 2019 at 11:10 #44398Hi Heiner
sorry, back again. Here your go.
I hope it is not a hardware issue, player seems to work fine. Is there a simple way to test the hifiberry card?
Regards
Hanspeter

Did you check the sound card settings and make sure they are as mentioned above?
The log also indicates either a problem with your connection to the radio servers or a general issues with the specific radio channel.
Try selecting none, rebooting, selecting the card and rebooting again to rule out an error with the hifiberry driver.
25. Februar 2019 at 12:49 #44556Hi Heiner
I tried all above and this multiple times. Radio runs through normal connector. I will try different software setup and see if it works.
Thanks
Hanspeter
