    I apologise if this has been asked (and the answer may be there in German, which I don’t read.

    Is the rotary encoder addon only for justboom audio cards? The installation instructions here https://www.max2play.com/en/2016/12/rotary-encoder-ist-now-compatible-with-justboom-sound-cards/ seem to just be for justbooms.

    I have a hifiberry amp clone. Is there a hardware volume knob implemented for this? https://www.inno-maker.com/product/hifi-amp-hat/

    Hi nickr,

    The installation of the Rotary Encoder should also be possible with an Amp Hat. It may only be that other pins have to be used and other parameters have to be entered in the settings.

    Hallo zusammen,
    nach der Insatalation des Plugins Harwarecontrol mit Jivelite (Display connected) läuft weder der Audioplayer noch Squeezboxserver.
    Mein Setup:
    RPI3B+, Hifiberry AMP2, RPI-Touch7″, Hifiberry Fernbedienung mit USB-Dongel
    Der RPI 3B+ kam wohl mit neuer Hardware weshalb ich nach Recherche im M2P Strech249Image in der Boot-Partition start.elf und fixup.dat aus der https://pip.raspberrypi.com/categories/685-whitepapers-app-notes/documents/RP-003476-WP/Updating-Pi-firmware.pdf ersetzen musste

    Danach lief alles einwandfrei mit Jivelite (kompiliere die neueste Version aus Quellen) und RPI-Diplay.

    Sobald ich aber das Hardwarecontrol Plugin installiere geht der Audioplayer und SBS verloren… somit habe ich das Image jetzt schon mehrfach neu Installiert….
    Frage: Kann ich etwas tun um eine erneute Neuinstalation zu umgehen? (Deaktivierung und Edit Lirc-IR-config habennix gebracht)

    Erster Fortschritt:
    RPI Einstellungen > Aktiviere LIRC für Infrarotunterstützung > Deaktivieren
    Audioplayer Squeezlite und Hifiberri sind wieder da.
    Player wird noch immer nicht gefunden
    Deaktiviere Bluetooth ist deaktiviert

    Jivlite stoppen, zurücksetzten = findet Player nicht
