    hallo zusammen,

    Hi Bernd,
I’ll answer you in English to benefit the rest of the community. Your question, whether you can use BubbleUPnP to play music from your smartphone to your sound card (HiFiBerry), is easily answered: definitely yes.
You can use the simple player „gmediarender“ in the Audioplayer menu on our web interface. It shows up as a simple DLNA renderer in BubbleUPnP on your phone. In the Audioplayer menu, you can select the sound card for output in the advanced settings.
The more elegant option is to use the Squeezelite player under the Squeezebox Server. The server has a plugin to make all your Squeezelite players DLNA compatible, to make them show up on your BubbleUPnP as well! The same principle applies to the sound card output; the advanced options of the player menu let you select the audio output and once you have activated your sound card, the default_hifiberry_amp option will show up.

Hello, I have the same exact problem, with the same exact message. On 2.37

    Cheers,

    Guillaume

    Hi Bernd and Guillame,
Sorry for the late response. Unfortunately, these issues are due to some correspondences between the Pi’s OS and the gmediarender player changing. We are looking into these issues but in the meantime I would recommend using the Squeezebox system instead. It includes a plugin that makes all Squeezelite players DLNA compatible from the first start of the Squeezebox Server (version 7.9 nightly). This way, you can continue using BubbleUPnP for your Pi.

Note that I’m sure that I posted an answer on this forum but I can’t find it out.

I would not install the server as my NAS is currently doing this.

    Hi Phoenix,

I just tested the gmedia renderer installation to make sure there are no problems with our script. However, I did not encounter any issues.

What device are you using? I tested on a Pi3. Also, if you already have a Squeezebox Server running, you can use Squeezelite as a DLNA player. Thanks to a plugin in LMS, alls Squeezelite players are also DLNA players.
