    Looking for a remote control solution for SqueezeBox Server – ideally I could repurpose the remote from my Squeezebox Classic.

    I’m not using Kodi or a display screen. Currently I control the server using the web interface or from my phone using Peng. I’d like a solution that doesn’t require me to open an app or a browser.

    Hello ArnieG,

    Thanks for your request.

    The IR-Support is already given in Squeezelite. Here you have to set -i LIRC-Configfile in the commandline options and set a cross into ‚update squeezelite‘. This you can find in the advanced settings of squeezelite in the audioplayer menu.

    Then it is possible to control the server over jivelite.
