    When I log in my Max2play C1+ it will say it has a lot of updates like this:

    login as: root
    [email protected]'s password:
    Welcome to Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS (GNU/Linux 3.10.80-131 armv7l)

     * Documentation:  https://help.ubuntu.com/

    319 packages can be updated.
    192 updates are security updates.

    Is is safe to do a „apt update“ then „apt upgrade“?

    Hi Raymond,
    The update will not damage your hardware or do any long term harm. But we cannot guarantee that all our features will continue working since we did not test the new updates.

    I made a dist-upgrade on my C1 with success, after that i had to reset settings of Jivelite. I have a C1 with small touchscreen.
