    There is an upgrade available from Ubuntu 15.04 to Ubuntu 15.10. Ubuntu 15.04 support has stopped so no more security or package upgrades will be available. Obviously a Ubuntu upgrade with a fully configured max2play system in situ is preferable to having to install a new image from scratch.

    Has anyone tried to carry out the upgrade and if so, is it successful?

    Is this something that should be left to the max2play team to verify before we attempt the upgrade ourselves?

    Hi bobertuk,

    the upgrade might lead to certain incompatibilites of packages, so no warranty everything will work after upgrading Ubuntu to 15.10. Nevertheless: Create a backup copy and try it out, if you want to! 🙂
