I tried both precompiled binary and compile from source.
Both displayed successful but JIvelite cannot start
„Trying to launch … NOT successful Click here to show detailed information
/opt/jivelite/jivelite/bin/jivelite: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL_gfx.so.13: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory“
So I started to search for it – nada
dpkg -l | grep libsdl-gfx
ii libsdl-gfx1.2-5:armhf 2.0.25-4 armhf drawing and graphical effects extension for SDL
ii libsdl-gfx1.2-dev:armhf 2.0.25-4 armhf development files for SDL_gfx
sudo locate libSDL_gfx.so
/usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/libSDL_gfx.so
/usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/libSDL_gfx.so.15
/usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/libSDL_gfx.so.15.9.1
/usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/libSDL_gfx.so.5
pi@rpi3:/opt/jivelite/jivelite $ sudo apt-cache search libsdl-gfx
libsdl-gfx1.2-5 – drawing and graphical effects extension for SDL
libsdl-gfx1.2-dev – development files for SDL_gfx
libsdl-gfx1.2-doc – documentation files for SDL_gfx
A quick google – seems to be part of pkg libsdl-gfx1.2-4 ?
Any suggestions?
(Never had any problems with Rpi B, B+ and Rpi 2
Fast and smooth)
Thx
did you use the Beta-Download of the newest Max2Play for Raspberry Pi 3 (based on Debian Jessie) from the Download Page? This should work out of the Box and Jivelite is already installed.
