    hi
    I bought a new dac :CHORD 2QUTE.
    it is working well with the optical output.
    unfortunately, using the USB input of the DAC musics plays but I can hear random cracklings or „pocs“…
    The DAC is well recognised by my max2play device. I can select it as my audio player device. but while music is playing I have recurrent pocs in the speakers. I was not having this issue with my previous dac… Is there any buffer configuration I should try? or else? any idea would be welcome.

    Hi lynoo,

    Sorry about the late response. Please add these parameters to the command line options in the advanced options for your audio player (squeezelite or shairport):
    hw:CARD=D2Qute,DEV=0

    This will connect your sound card directly to the hardware volume control and hopefully get rid of the cracklings.
