If you are experiencing trouble with the Youtube Addon in Kodi – this will help you:

The Youtube-Addon that is listed in the Kodi-Addons won’t work anymore because Google changed the authentication for Youtube-Users.

With Max2Play (Beta Version or from Version 2.28) all you got to do is:
– on the Max2Play Web interface Kodi page choose „Update/Install Youtube Addon to fix Unknown Error“ from the Addon Installer
– restart Kodi
– open Youtube Addon and click „sign in“
– you will get two codes that you must connect with your Youtube account to get access. This can be done with any browser by pointing it to „http://www.youtube.com/activate“
