I found out Max2Play while I was searching for a way to stop those annoying spam phone calls. Tellows brought me to max2play that I have installed and bought. I installed the Tellows addons. Configured my VoIP and got the message „SIP Settings for VOIP Setup – Register Status: Successfully Connected“ but it is not receiving any calls. The strange part is that, even if I delete my password, it still says „connected“. I suppose it is not really connected to my VoIP.
More information: for the moment, I have not paid Tellows yet (in order to receive their API key to get their blacklisted call numbers). I wonder if the missing API key will block the VOIP part working too…
Other info : my VOIP is SFR France and is working fine on my smartphone.
The VOIP settings are designed to work with AVM FritzBox! routers which appear as an own VOIP server in your network. We don’t have any experience with your SIP, therefore, we cannot guarantee you can use the callblocker functionality as expected. Basically, the callblocker unit is added as another VOIP telephone in a FritzBox! router. Accordingly, an incoming call also rings the callblocker unit, the callblocker identifies the number, compares it to the blacklist and decides what to do. If you see any possibility to configure which devices should receive incoming calls, there is a chance it will work. But again, no guarantee.
The API key is related to the blacklist only and does not prevent the VOIP configuration from working.
