Hi guys, i need help for a problem about DSD.
I m playing many dsd files in last period and i have found a little problem. When i play a DSD, and then i change, playing a normal flac, after i cant play again DSD files cause first i need to restart Squeezelite (i hope to have been clear). Once i restarted squeezelite i can play DSD, but i will have always the same story changing the files i play.
How can i resolve this?I have this in my parametres:
“ -C 10 -c pcm,flac,mp3,dsd -r 384000,48000 -o hw:CARD=BossDAC -V Digital -a 80:4:: -e alac “
is it all ok?Thanks to all will help me
Antonio
6. Juni 2018 at 13:41 #36099Hi Antonio,
Please try changing -C 10 to -C 5, also check the Squeezebox Server debug info log whether there are any error messages after playing DSD.
6. Juni 2018 at 15:46 #36100I have tried with -C 5 and there is not any difference.
This is the log of SQUEEZEBOX SERVER and there is not anything of particular about dsd i think#### SQUEEZESERVER LOG #### [18-06-06 09:23:37.3786] Slim::Utils::Misc::msg (1252) Warning: [09:23:37.3770] Image::Scale unknown file type (/mnt/share/Musica/ROCK/P/Pink Floyd - Collection/24 Bit/Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon - 1973 (2016), (USA), TAV (KIV+ART-2000)/Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon.dsf), first 8 bytes were: 44 53 44 20 1c 00 00 00 [18-06-06 09:23:37.3993] Slim::Web::Graphics::__ANON__ (403) Artwork resize for music/f2d35bd2/cover_200x200_o failed [18-06-06 12:57:03.0726] Slim::Utils::Misc::msg (1252) Warning: [12:57:03.0711] Image::Scale unknown file type (/mnt/share/Musica/ROCK/P/Pink Floyd - Collection/24 Bit/Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon - 1973 (2016), (USA), TAV (KIV+ART-2000)/Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon.dsf), first 8 bytes were: 44 53 44 20 1c 00 00 00 [18-06-06 12:57:03.0803] Slim::Web::Graphics::__ANON__ (403) Artwork resize for music/f2d35bd2/cover_200x200_o failed #### PERL VERSION #### v5.20.2
11. Juni 2018 at 9:28 #36147There also seems to be an issue with your cover art. Is it perhaps too high definition? Could you try removing to rule it out as a possible source of error?
12. Juni 2018 at 9:44 #36162Well…i have deleted the folder with the cover that give me errors..and nothing has changed!Neither the debug information, that still give me errors in the cover i have deleted
12. Juni 2018 at 12:27 #36164Hi antonio,
Please try deleting the following entries from your cmd line options:
-c pcm,flac,mp3,dsd -r 384000,48000
-a 80:4:: -e alac
