I have a question if it is possible to make librespot (Spoify connect) play using the Bluetooth device on RPI3?
Either GUI or command line way will be good.
Currently I have Squeezelite being able to play to bluetooth using „Soundcard – Pulse (…)“ – set up in Web form.
I also added „-C 10“ in „Command Line Options“ Web form setup.
However in Spotify Connect setup, in Web form I only have:
Output Device:
hw:ALSA – ALSA, hw:ALSA
hw:sndrpihifiberry – sndrpihifiberry, hw:sndrpihifiberry
(no bluetooth device)
I thought I could run librespot by command line:
/opt/spotifyconnect/librespot –name SpotiPi –username *** –password *** –disable-discovery –cache /tmp
But it still does not play through my Bluetooth device.
However the Spotify on my laptop connects well to „SpotPi“ on Max2play and plays through it (with no actual sound => I suspect it may play through Hifiberry dac).
Unfortunately I can’t make librespot to display available devices, as the following command shows nothing
/opt/spotifyconnect/librespot –device ?
Dont know how to make it play through Bluetooth; please help.
Hardware is Raspberry Pi 3 + Official 7″ touch display + hifiberry DAC (not sure about the exact model)
The bluetooth receiver is Logitech Bluetooth Adapter.
Logitech server is set up on Synology NAS.
Here I include some infos from librespot program:
