Hello.
I have a Respberry PI 2 Model B board, recently I bought for it a 5-inch touchscreen display from China: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/5-inch-LCD-HDMI-Touch-Screen-Display-Module-TFT-LCD-800-480-Banana-Pi-Raspberry-Pi/32537087535.html
It came with Raspbian drivers, I’ve installed them very easy. Touch pen and even finger works well in Raspbian shell, but Kodi doesn’t interact with touchscreen. It does not even appear in the Input devices / Peripherals menu.
I’ve tried to install RPI-Display 7″ touchdisplay addon, but this changed nothing. In the input peripherals list I see only Logitech CEC Adapter for my mouse and keyboard.
Could you please add support for my display to Kodi as a plugin? I can email you a RPi driver that comes with it.
By the way, dmesg shows a strings for it during system bootup:
ads7846 spi0.1: touchscreen, irq 505
input: ADS7846 Touchscreen as /devices/platform/soc/3f204000.spi/spi_master/spi0/spi0.1/input/input2
maybe that says something for you.
Thank you in advance.
