I try to install a PiTFT 2.8“ CAPACITATVE touch (NOT resistive) display on my raspberry. Installed the RPi Display Add-On and choose „Adafruit 2.8“ Touchdisplay“.
Unfortunately the display runs, but NOT the touch. The display does not react by touching.
In the beginning of the installation routine there was a selection 1 to 5. The max2play Add-on automatically selects 1. But this is WRONG for a CAPACITIVE 2,9 Touch display. I have to choose 3 for PiTFT 2.8“ capacitive touch (see https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-2-8-pitft-capacitive-touch/easy-install-2)
I guess that this is the reason why my touch display is not reacting. How can I restart the the selection procedure?
The best way is probably to manually install it through our remote control plugin. You can use the login user: pi pw: max2play and then the command sudo su to get root rights.
