Today, we get to introduce you to two new HiFiBerry sound cards that are now available for Max2Play and in our store. The HiFiBerry DAC+ Zero is the smaller brother of the classic HiFiBerry DAC+ and brings HiFi analogue conversion to the tiny Raspberry Pi Zero. the HiFiBerry MiniAMP lets Max2Play members create new and exciting players for even the smallest of spaces thanks to its direct ability to power the Pi Zero, the MiniAmp itself and some passive speakers, all at once. The HiFiBerry DAC Zero is a high-quality digital-to-analog converter for the Raspberry Pi Zero with 192kHz/24bit. The DAC was invented for the Raspberry Pi Zero, but also works on all newer models with a 40 pin GPIO connector. For price sensitive Raspberry Pi user, that don’t need all features of the HiFIBerry DAC+, this Zero DAC is a cost-effective alternative. Technical details: The HiFiBerry MiniAmp is a tiny, but highly efficient Class-D power amplifier for the Raspberry Pi Zero, but also works on all newer models with a 40 pin GPIO connector. The Amp is capable of driving a pair of 4-8 Ohm speakers and provides up to 2x3W output power.
