The new Max2Play version 2.31 has just been released. Besides the usual bug fixes, the main focus of this version was to update our plugins in order to improve the support for the new Raspbian Jessie Lite-based Max2Play. The Jessie Lite version of Max2Play was initially introduced with update 2.28 and is, for example, mandatory for the Raspberry Pi 3. In addition to the default image, we also have updated the preconfigured image for HiFiBerry soundcards to version 2.31. You can download the new Max2Play image from our download page. A complete list of all changes can be found in the Changelog.

I have installed the Hifiberry v. 2.31 image on a raspberry pi 3. I have all my music files stored on a usb drive. When I try to set a fixed mounting point for this usb drive I get this error message:“sudo: unable to resolve host max2play Mountpoint NOT added! Please refer to the description below!“. I don’t get this error message when I use my raspberry pi 2. What should I do to fix this?
