HiFiBerry DAC+ Light and DAC+ Pro are Now Supported by Max2Play Images

Release of new DACs

From the day of this post, the 15th of September 2015, we have the HiFiBerry DAC+ Pro and HiFiBerry Dac+ Light available. The Max2Play Image supports from cards directly out of the box. Additionally, we now offer a new Bundle in our Shop for all HiFiBerry DAC+ versions. We recommend the new DAC+ light as a good starter DAC. Thanks to its good value, we can now, for the first time, offer a bundle that can be used out of the box and costs under 100€. The HiFiBerry DAC+ versions can also be ordered seperately in our store.

DAC+ light

The HiFiBerry DAC+ light is the smaller brother of the classic DAC+. It has another chipset (ESS instead of Burr-Brown) and no hardware volume control. Which is why it can score with a very convincing price point and still manages to put out an impressive sound.
